Reasons for Resignation

Why employee resigns from companies soon without mentioning a good reason? This is a common question many leaders and HR people have in their mind. Though they know the reasons are most of the times very openly informed by the employees prior resignation in most of the companies. There may be various common reasons like better opportunity in terms of salary, company size, job responsibilities, better position etc. There are many hidden reasons that are actually not discussed by the employees and some of them are work culture, irregular payment practices, behavior of top authorities, lack of enough training and many more. Hence it’s very important to keep a close watch on the gaps the companies have with the employees to run a successful business.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation and benefits are directly connected to employee’s performance and motivation to work. Therefore the compensation and benefits structure must be designed properly before creating a position and start hiring for the position. By negotiating savings may be obtained but in a long run, company’s reputations more or less gets hampers due to poor salary structure design. At the same time, employees must understand their skills and past performance to take decision on what to ask for. At one point due to immediate need the employer may hire an employee at higher package but later realizing, the employer may follow unethical practices which is not good indication for both the employee and employer.

Work from home update

Post pandemic, the employee category seems more worried about the work life balance. Governments are issuing new rules and regulations to support the employees. Is it going to help companies to perform or not? That’s a question. Well office space must be a place to support flexible work environment to avoid such demands from employees. Many companies have understood this and they maintain a very flexible work environment at office. However work from home is not a solution to worker class. Work life balance is anyways designed by the governments and companies accordingly and time to time the labor laws, rules and regulations related to work and workplace are modified to support the work environment.
